[…] The Power of Desire Without Attachment - Audio […]

Thanks for the insight Mike. It really does come at a great time for I was pondering on the subject already.
I’m starting to understand that asking for what I desire is perfectly alright. It is part of the system. I can easily make lists of the wonderful things I am attracted to, and I have written more lists lately. But what I really want is freedom. Mostly freedom from worrying about money and time and health. Sinec I was introduced to the Law of Attraction last year, I am better off than ever before, so it is getting easier to notice the great life I have. But now that I’m doing good, I want to do great. So I ask for more again. But now the desire is still there but the worry is diminished. I think that helps.
But the letting go of results is tough. Asking for something and then not noticing its absence is a big jump. I don’t want to, but I still resist the “relax and allow” part. Some things I have learned lately:
If I want to feel like I have plenty of something, I give it away. So my wife and I gave a struggling friend $1000 last weekend. The feeling was wonderful. It was a feeling of love. It really did make me feel rich. I want to do that more. What would it feel like to give away a million dollars? Imagine.
