Great post, Mike. And YES, I’ve found myself in this situation more than once - I too rely heavily on email. One “reason” is that I really do feel I communicate so much better in writing - for all the points you made. I’ve also found that over time, this has hindered my skill and ability to communicate as well as I once did in person! I like your suggestions here in regards to how to balance out all these different communication styles. I totally agree - once I see something to start going South via some form of written communication - it’s best to pick that phone up right away! Your posts always offer so much value to people and their lives (mine for one). I really appreciate them!
