Have a great day…it’s wonderful to connect with you this way every other week. I’m honored and grateful that you are on my e-zine list.
With Appreciation,

Be Aware of Your Personal Emissions
Over the past few years, like many people, I’ve become more aware of my own consumption, my use of resources, and how what I do impacts the planet. Thankfully as a nation and a world we’re beginning to wake up more and more to the impact we have on the earth and the importance of each of us doing our small part to conserve the finite amount of natural resources we all have to share.
Whether it’s driving hybrid cars, doing business in a more “green” way, recycling, buying environmentally friendly products, letting our political leaders know how we feel and that this is important, and more – there are lots of things we can do and that many of us have started to do based on the increased awareness of the situation with our environment.
With all of this raised awareness about the environmental impact of what we do, use, and how we live…I think we might also want to consider how we feel, the thoughts we have, and what goes on within us as well.
What kinds of “vibes” are you sending out – towards others and in general? When we live with a lot of unexpressed emotions and negativity within us we’re contributing or even “polluting” the collective consciousness. We’re “emitting” a lot of toxic energy into our relationships, families, work places, environments, and to our overall society.
Twenty or thirty years ago, not too many of us thought that how much we drove, what kinds of products we chose to use, or where we put our waste made all that much difference. Now, thankfully, we know better. This same thing is true for our thoughts and feelings.
I’m not advocating or even suggesting that we have to be happy all the time and that we should feel guilty for our negativity. I am suggesting, however, that we become increasingly aware of our internal state and begin to take responsibility for the fact that our thoughts and feelings not only impact our lives and goals, but the people’s lives around us and the environment in which we work and live.

When we each do our own part and begin to wake up, take responsibility, and work through the toxic energy within us – we can become a catalyst for positive change and also we do our part to cleaning up the mental and emotional environment around us.

Book Recommendation: The Power of Giving

In The Power of Giving, Azim Jamal and Harvey McKinnon take us beyond the idea that giving just means donating money; they expand it to include the giving of kindness, ideas, advice, attention, skills, time, hope, love, touch, and much more. This simple, easy-to-use guide to every facet of giving helps us understand why we should give and what each of us has to give—as well as to whom, how, when, and how much to give. I think you will enjoy this wonderful new book and when you click on the link below you’ll learn more about the free bonuses you receive from many authors, like me, when you purchase copies of this book. http://thepowerofgiving.org/promo
Great Website and Resource – First30Days.com:
I recently came across a neat website I think you will enjoy, www.first30days.com. This site is all about dealing with change in a positive way. The “first 30 days” refer to the very beginning of any change we face – big or small. You can sign up for their free email lists, under specific categories that relate to your life, the changes you are facing, or ones you want to make. This site is filled with wonderful information and resources…all for free! Check it out. http://www.first30days.com

Below is a list of where I’m speaking for the next few months. Most of these events are for my corporate or organizational clients (i.e. not open to the public). The events listed in bold text below are at bookstores, churches, and other public venues which anyone can attend. I would love to see you or people you know at one of my public events. And, if you live in any of the cities where I will be traveling and want to contact me about setting up a speaking engagement for your group or company while I’m in town, feel free to contact me.
